Two of Camden's oldest businesses teaming up

CAMDEN (Nov 22): When Camden National Corporation (CNC) was looking for a firm that could provide a wide array of health and insurance benefits for its employees around the state, CNC found the solution not in Portland or Boston but right across the street from its headquarters in Camden.

Employee benefits are important to Camden National Corporation, which wanted to offer a menu of options so employees could create their own customized benefits packages. Allen Financial Group, across Chestnut Street from CNC headquarters, had the expertise for the job.

At Allen Financial, this new collaborative effort, established this fall, means two of Camden's oldest businesses are now sharing their expertise.

AFG was able to craft a list of choices in health care, vision care, life, and disability insurances, including well care, preventative care, and long-term coverage.
